Ninja Eyes

Random Headcanon: Cole's eyes are actually purple and silver. He constantly uses his powers, so they look amber.

UPDATE 8-12-15

Headcanon: Even when the Ninja are not using their powers, their eyes are flecked with their "Elemental Colors". So gold for Lloyd, amber for Cole, red for Kai, white for Zane, and blue for Jay. This only applied to the Mentors, for they control the basic Elements.

Headcanon: When the Ninja use their powers, their eyes will flash their "Elemental Color.

Haha, I'm back, miss me? So this is something I did today! Well, yesterday and today, haha.
I wanted to draw the Ninjas' eyes, so I did this, it was super fun mixing colors and the struggle was real 'cause I colored it in the car while crossing the border. Then we had to cross the Rio Bravo... ;^;
Anyways! If anyone has any ideas for what characters I should do next, besides the Spirit Dragons, drop them down in the comments below!
But, this is what I have in mind, since I have nothing better to do with my life, sob:

He, meant to write something here! Well. Um.
I was going to talk about how the Ninja inherited their eye colors, but instead I'll make a chart, cause I'm way too lazy to retype EVERYTHING I had already. So ya.

Lloyd = From Garmadon
Kai = From his mom whose Headcanon name I forgot XD
Jay: From both parents
Zane: Design based on Julien's dad.
Cole: From his mom.

Now, to talk more about Cole.
So, he got the purple and silver eye from his mom, who passed away shortly after he was born since she had been very sick when she was pregnant with him.
Cole always felt that his father blamed HIM for his mother's death, and he didn't really like the way his father looked down at him for being a "carbon copy" of Chole (Clo-ee), a.k.a, his mom.
Around the age of 15, Cole lied to his father that he was going to head off to Mary Oprenhimer's School of Preforming Arts, and instead ran away from home.
He joined a search and rescue team in the mountains and found out about his powers when a cave in got him and a few lost cave explorers trapped inside a unstable tunnel system.
Around the age of 23/24, Sensei Wu found him and started training him.
Ya.
More on the inherited eye color.
Lloyd inherited his eye color from Garmadon, much against the popular Headcanon that he got them from Misako. No. Misako has boring brown eyes and that's that.
Jay got the soft chestnut brown from both parents, the blue flecks coming from his grandfather. Edna was apparently supposed to become Master of Wind, and Ed Master of Lightning, which is why Jay has two elements.
Kai has brown eyes flecked like red embers. The brown came from his mom, while the red ember like flecks from his dad, Erek.
Zane's eye color was based off Dr.Julien's father, who had been the previous Master of Ice. His eyes are flecked with white because of his elemental abilities.
Jeeze, and I said that I wouldn't retype everything!

Back! And with a bit more too! Wolfwings102, I'm preparing to torture you when I get back home, hahahaha.
So, I decided to clear up a bit on the Cole Headcanon that I have, about his eyes and his past before and after meeting Sensei Wu.
Before Cole unlocked his powers and found out he could conceal his true eye color simply by keeping his powers at full strength, he would wear a hood/beanie/hat to hide his eyes. Nobody questioned why, but it was a bit odd for someone to have multicolored eyes, especially since that part of NinjaGo was known for having one solid eye color.
Then the cave in incident came along, and he found about the ability he could use to hide the thing he hated the most about himself, his eyes.
After Cole became a part of the team, he would often let his powers rest when he was going to sleep or when nobody could disturb him (usually when he was writing or drawing, or some other hobby of his). But, eventually, when Cole finally let his guard down one day, Kai and Jay (being the sneaky little assholes they were), spooked him when he was asleep on the couch and they got a glimpse of his eyes.
Don't worry though, they swore to Cole they would take the secret to their grave, since that's what brothers were for.
